Job DescriptionCompany: Mentor Graphics Job Title: Product Specialist Engineer - 4848 Job Location: Tunisia – Tunis Job Category: Technical Marketing Job Duties: The individual will be part of the technical marketing team. He provides input on product evolution as part of his responsibilities and as a result of working closely with customers pre-/post-sales. The individual will work with R&D to test & validate new capabilities and will also help contribute to and review technical documentation on features and use methodology. The team primarily develops prototyping tools that enable the customer to take a large RTL design and put it into a multi-FPGA hardware platform. These platforms are primarily used for software development and system level verification of our customers design. Job Qualifications: Required skills: • Technical o SystemVerilog, Verilog and VHDL RTL design experience o ASIC and/or FPGA design implementation experience (synthesis) o Verification experience with SystemVerilog, SystemC and/or C/C++ o Debugging RTL designs o Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., TCL, Python, Perl, various shell scripts/Makefiles, XML, etc.) • Professional / technical marketing o Ability to create and deliver product presentations focused on functionality and value differentiation and contribute to creating other outbound marketing material (datasheets, web page content, etc.) o Ability to create and deliver product demos live, via internet or recorded o Inbound marketing skills (product requirements/enhancements) • Desired skills: o FPGA prototyping of ASIC designs is highly desired o Experience with Vivado and/or Quartus for synthesis and P&R o Emulation experience is a plus o Verification methodology & modeling such as UVM, TBX (or equivalent) o Experience with AMBA on-chip protocols, coherency verification, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, etc. o Verification IP development for use in hardware acceleration and simulation o Debugging RTL designs in emulation, prototyping and/or silicon (FPGA or ASIC) o Experience debugging embedded software Ability to travel internationally to visit customers and support pre-sales evaluations and post-sales updates and deployment of new capabilities, and, occasionally to R&D teams in Wilsonville (OR), Fremont (CA), UK, Paris and Noida. Travel is generally 1 week or less. However, pre-sales evaluations may require extended stays.
